The study tries to present a case study of the NPM Bronze e-Learning Course (abbreviated as the Bronze Course) to analyze the museum e-course developmental strategies in Taiwan. There are three objectives in this dissertation. The first objective is to examine the developmental situations of the Bronze Course. Then, the second objective focuses on analyzing the problems happened in developing the Bronze Course. The last one but the main objective is to provide the directions for museums in Taiwan to build up strategies in developing their museum e-courses. This study uses th qualitative method In the data collection process, interviews and first-hand resources are the two major approaches to be adopted in the study. Furthermore, the problems in the Bronze Course development are classified in four periods to discuss. The four ones are the period of analysis, design, development, and implementation. Throughout analyzing the problems in the Bronze Course development by the classification of the four periods, it is helpful to put focus on the problems in the Bronze Course development. In addition, the problem management strategies of the Bronze Course team are analyzed, and then the result of this analysis was consulted with the academic and the scholars’ recommendations to build up the curriculum development directions of this study for museums in Taiwan to develop their museum e-courses strategies. Moreover, the directions for museum e-courses strategies are mapped out the viewpoints for exterior and for internal administrations. In conclusion, the consequence of this study is not only a useful reference of museum e-courses methodology for the National Palace Museum, but also a useful guide for e-learning content providers, educational administration institutions, the elementary and junior high school teachers, and researchers.
