Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與藝術教育學系碩士班 === 94 === The implementation of the Nine-year Compulsory Education highlights the importance of individual school-based curriculum design and of the teaching material developed by the teachers; the post madern art education emphasizes the student-centered curriculum design and the comibnation of education and life. This research is built on the foundation that the pupils come from the communities which has close relationships with the students’ life experiences and which is the potential resources for the teacher to develop the curriculum. The researcher believes that the curriculum developed by using the community resrouces can create a school-community liaison learning environment, and fit in with the princple of internalizing the life experiences into the curriculum. Therefore, the researcher adopted the TACAM Integration Curriculum Design Model, the student-centered principle, and the strategy of combining the current curriculum and the community resources to design a pilot program and implemented it in an elementory school. It is hoped that the research can develop a practical and feasible mothodology for curriculum design through studying the current education trend and through testing the pilot curriculum in a real senairo as a front-line elementory school teacher. This paper adopts the action research method to design a one-semester curriculum and to examine the implementation result. The researcher induces the following five conclusions from the perspectives of curriculum design and from the participants’ feedbacks. The first one is that using the night market culture as the teaching resource can arouse critically thinking on social and environmental issues. The second one is that the strategy of combining the current textbook and the community resources will strongly help the new curriculum design. The third one is that TACAM Integration Curriculum Design Model can help the teacher to overlook every aspects of a topic and to start the first step of the curriculum design. The fourth one is that the curriculum designed by the student-centered principle depends on the teachers’ timely involvement. Last but not least, the researcher and the student profit from each other through the whole process. At the end of the paper, the researcher provides the suggestions on implementing the curriculum by using TACAM Integration Curriculum Design Model and on the follow-up research.
