碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 音樂研究所 === 94 === Abstract The instrument Erhu is extremely rich in performance, and has its unique features in the different works and the areas. In the past 5 decades, the correlation data of evolution of the Erhu had not completely preserved, and this is a quite big challenge for the researcher. In terms of study, preservation and enhancement, it is noted that evolution of the Erhu is worth discussing. This paper is formulating the following related dimensions of evolution of the Erhu with data mining and literature review and subsequently verifying by the methods of investigation, classification, analysis and induction. 1. The development of Erhu in the school education system. 2. The voiced media and the plane media. 3. The music competition and the qualifying examination. 4. The works of Erhu issued in Taiwan. 5. The representative composers of Erhu and their works. It is hoped that this novel approach to Erhu development will help educators, composers and governors identify efficient practices and superior management strategy.
