One of the objectives of this paper is to establish a pressure measurement system and the pressure inside can be directly measured, and further the effective cavitation number can be determined. Comparing the pressure variations under different ventilation quantities, it shows that the lower cavitation number, the larger ratio of the cavity length to diameter. The other objective is to establish a whole new three-component balance measurement system and the dynamic buoyancy of the supercavitating body installed with skids can be measured. The design and calibration procedures are also introduced and compared with the old mechanism in this paper.
