Under the circumstances that the material supply chain is still incomplete, it is an important subject how the top management of the enterprises select the most suitable suppliers in order to meet the production requirements and improve the yield rate of process and product quality. Furthermore, how to reduce the manufacturing cost and create the constant competition advantage is also an important matter. First, by exploring the relevant documents and by consulting the experts, scholars and professionals of TFT-LCD industry, the assessment criteria of selecting suppliers in TFT-LCD industry are developed. Then, by utilizing fuzzy set theory, a systematized and scientific supplier assessment model for TFT-LCD industry is constructed.
