Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 河海工程學系 === 94 === Abstract To improve living quality and public sanitary of a modern city and to effectively raise the popularization ratio of sewerage system, the Administration of Executive includes the development of the sewerage system as a project in the National Development Program. The project plans to raise the ratio of the public sanitary sewerage system collected rate to 22.1% and the sludge treatment rate to 32.0% in six years (from the year of 2003 to 2008). To achieve such a goal, the government regards the sewerage system construction as work of great urgency and expects to promote the public sanitary sewage system collected rate by encouraging the public to participate in the sewerage system construction through the build-operate-transfer model. From the viewpoint of construction design and development, the quality of the sewerage system is one of the key factors that have an impact on promoting the public sanitary sewerage system collected rate. This research discusses the pipejacking construction of the sewerage systems. Due to the lack of case studies on the sewerage system on the gravel formation, this research focuses on the geological elements and engineering characteristics of the gravel formation in the Hawlien (Mai-lun) area. The research aims to present the machine selection, the benefit evaluation, and the difficulties encountered during the development of the sewerage system on the gravel formation. Possible solutions and recommendations are also provided in the hope of making contributions to the future sewerage system construction in the Hawlien area.
