Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 社會教育學系在職進修碩士班 === 94 === The research aims to explore the viability of adopting e-learning in senior high school library use education and assess the effects of e-learning so as to lighten librarians' burden and improve the effectiveness of library use. The primary research method is qualitative analysis, and the auxiliary method, quantitative analysis of students' learning effects to test and verify the findings of the research. The method is to design user education courses through focus interviews; to plan and set up an e-learning management platform; to design e-learning materials on ADDIE Instructional System. After proper preview and modification, the materials can be used in the library use education activities. The research takes as subjects National Yuan-Li Senior High School’s 407 tenth graders in average classes, reaching the conclusion by assessing and comparing their learning effects before and after the adoption of e-learning and analyzing their online voting results. The research finds that 92% of the students think it necessary to access the school library, and 95% of them consider library use education courses to be helpful in the effective use of library resourses. After e-learning activities, the students make impressive improvement on their average score, from 42.33 to 80.49. 90% of them think that they have achieved the goal of learning; 83% feel that their learning effects have improved; and 81% think that e-learning can motivate students to learn actively. The above findings prove that the proposed methods help reach the desirable goals the research aims to achieve. The findings of the research indicate that Taiwan’s information technology has been adequately developed to begin the adoption of e-learning. Most of the indoor library use education courses can be conducted by means of e-learning. Adoption of e-learning in library use education is conducive to the arousing the learners’ interests and the improving of learning effects. E-learning can be performed anytime and save manpower and money. Therefore, the e-learning mode designed by the research is suitable to senior high school library use education courses and can solve the problems with the traditional library use education in senior high school. At the of the research, based on the findings of the research, I put forth, as references, proposals on the adoption of e-learning in senior high school library use education and related issues.
