To achieve this goal, the enterprise is supposed to systematically collect and analyze data to adjust its management strategies. For this reason, Data Warehouse is the best choice. A data warehouse integrates data from the various operational systems and is typically loaded from these systems at regular intervals. An enterprise structures repository of subject-oriented, time-variant, historical data used for information retrieval and decision support. Compared with the traditional information system, data warehouse is superior. Thanks to the function of data sharing, data warehouse promotes the consistency and immediateness of information. Combining data warehouse with the tools such as Data Mining and Online Analytical Processing, users can obtain the integral information to make an accurate and timely decision. Besides for enterprises, Data Warehouse is a useful system for library study. Researchers can not only use this system to analyze the book borrowing/returning information but also link with database tools to obtain lots of useful information. For example, Data Warehouse can integrate data from students' personal information, grades, and course-taking information to do more extended researches in library science. The aim of this research is to integrate a great deal of information in the library from many databases to establish a useful data storage offering information to Data Mining and Online Analytical Processing. The technique of Concept Hierarchy is utilized to make the connection between database concise and effective. On account of the convenience of this system, users, experts or people in charge of database are able to operate the interfaces of system effortlessly and complete their tasks without assistance.
