Lin-Mei-Chun Student:Lin-Hsuan-Yu ABSTRACT The present research is to develop a early childhood curriculum for children’s emotional development through drama activities. Action research is adopted as the research method and a mix-aged group in a public kindergarden in Kaohsiung county is the target children in the research. Through a series of circular actions in teaching, it is found that when designing the emotional curriculum, it is important to consider the individual differences and maturity of the children. Meanwhile, the teacher needs to be flexible and create a story-like dramatic situation during drama activities. It is interesting to find that the dramatic actitivies help the emotional II development of the children in the class. From the aspect of drama teaching, there are several drama techniques that is useful in the curriculum. The research also offer suggestions for future studies. II
