碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 語文教育學系教學碩士班 === 94 === The early research on Shrfajie (included in Yijoushu) has been focused on the examination and explanation of Shr’s（謚字） and their meanings. After the studies of Jiaguwen（甲骨文） and Jinwen（金文）, research on Shrfajie has been extended to the origination and evolution of Shrfa（謚法）. Recently, in his Shrfayanjiou（《謚法研究》）, researcher Wangshoukuan（汪受寬）has conducted a more complete research on Shrfajie. However, due to limited references were cited, some of his research conclusions may subject to further studies. Hence, in this thesis, by using the results of previous investigations as the foundation, a comprehensive research on Shrfajie was conducted. By comparing the various recorded events occurred in the early Chin Dynasty（先秦）and the corresponding Shr’s and their explanations given in Shrfajie, an additional progress on the research of Shrfajie has been made. This research on Yijoushu – Shrfajie concludes that Shrfajie was prepared (written) in the middle or the late of Jankuo.（戰國）Among the collected 99 Shr’s, 55 have been used before Surfarjei was written, but their explanations were unavailable. By comparing the events and the Shrhau’s（謚號）of several kings and ruling clans in the early stage of Chin Dynasty recorded in Shrshu（史書） and the corresponding explanations of Shr’s given in Shrfajie, it is discovered that part of the Shr’s explanations may be created by combining some common events for the people with the same Shrhau. However, the explanations of Shr’s were created mainly based on their original meanings. The pioneer work by Yijoushu – Shfarjei has made significant contributions to the explanations of Shr’s. It not only collected the usages of Shr’s from Shichou（西周） to Zhankuo, but systematically summarized the explanations of Shr’s. In addition, it also created some newly proposed Shr’s and their explanations. The discovery of Shrfajie has laid the theoretical foundation for future research on Shrfa.
