Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 94 === The main purpose of this study focused on the employment condition﹐employment intent and the job satisfaction of visual impaired graduates of the Music Major﹒ Participants of this study were people with visual impaired who had college degree with music major and proceeded to investigation by telephone interview﹒ The total of valid questionnaires were 46﹐two people refused to answer﹐so the response rate was 95.7﹪﹒ The data collected was analyzed by frequency distribution﹐ percentage﹐ mean﹐and standard deviation﹒ Results of this study were as follows︰ 1. Background︰ The ratio of blinds to low visions were 7︰3﹐and the ratio of men to women were 2︰1﹒ 95.6% of the participants held the bachelor degree﹒ 2. Employment condition︰All of the participants got the job﹐and 94% of the participants were devoted to music–related job﹒But only 6% of the participants were devoted to the job was irrelevant to music field﹒55% of the participants’salary were mostly between 25﹐001∼45﹐000 NT dollars per month﹒ 3. Employment intent︰ 85.4% of the participants indicated no intention to change now﹒17% of the participants were desirous that they should serve as public junior high school teachers﹒ 4. Job satisfaction︰ The participants were mostly satisfied with their jobs﹒ The extent of satisfactory descending from high to low was︰ professional ability﹐ personal relationship﹐ organization﹐job modifications﹐and salary﹒ Based on conclusion of the study﹐suggestions were provided to government policy﹐career counseling practices﹐and people with visual impairments﹒
