Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 材料科學系自然科學教育碩士班 === 94 === The Purpose of this study was to investigate the adsorption of metal ions on poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-poly(acylic acid) (PNIPAAm-PAA), which is a temperature/pH sensitive intelligent linear copolymer. The adsorption and desorption processes were carried out at the room temperature. The amount of metal ions adsorbed on linear PNIPAAm-PAA varied with operating temperature. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to analyze the phase transition temperature of the intelligent polymer. The linear intelligent polymer has the potential to lower operating temperature, shorten adsorption cycles, as well as minimize cost in industrial processes.
