It is the key that a team of Research Development (R/D) share and consolidate ideas or innovations for new product development in such an urgent timeline. In order to accelerate new product development, soft wares for product design and management have been applied to IC (Integrated Circuit) designers through a systematic way to create, absorb, diffuse and apply knowledge and information in an organization. An innovation design method called TRIZ has overwhelmed the western nations to the product innovation research and development domain. As seen in many patents, applications by TRIZ have benefited knowledge library that may assist a designer to have matrix table to solve problems from innovation confliction, overcome the challenge from technology parameters, reduce the product development time interval and reduce research and development expense. This paper presents a case study of an analog design company in Taiwan as an example that applies TRIZ methodology for developing series of MOS product and finishing a specific new product by the model of contradiction matrix. This result was compared with the one as done before to see whether there is any significant difference.
