Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 數學教育學系 === 94 === The main purpose of this study is to confer fraction concept of a fifth-grade student . Interviews with Siao-Wen (pseudonym) was conducted with the methods of “teaching interview” to analyze problem-solving activities regarding fraction, to induce mode and thinking, meaning and type of fractions as well as to describe her concept. According to the results, she had a nested fraction measurement concept. The important characteristics of the concept are: (1) Part-whole relationship as well as this concept are “bi-direction part-whole relationship”; (2) Interiorized subdividing concept and partition of non-integer; (3) Integeried fractions with two different contents control two variable denominators; (4) Understanding fractions could be divided; (5) The former and later of ratio is co-variable but the ratios represents different situations; as well as (6) Rates are comparable. In addition, the important solving types used were: (1) the relations of part, whole and duplication problem; (2) when two denominators are same, numerators are directly used to solve fraction; otherwise, the problems were re-stated and represented as integer-type problems in order to solve it; and (3) using representations to solve equal fraction and to compare sequences.
