The findings of the study would provide information for Taiwan to bid the hosting of the 2020 Olympic Games. This research managed the general literature analysis method for data collection, including the Questionnaire for Applicant City responsed to International Olympic Committee, the Candidature file of the Candidate City and the vote by IOC members on 117th session held in Singapore. The results of the study indicated that the reasons London won the IOC vote were the detailed plan of “Government support”, “Legal guarantees”, "General infrastructure", "Sports venues", "Olympic Village", "Environmental conditions and impact", "Accommodation", "Transport concept", "Safety and security", " Experience from past sports events", "Financial plan", "The overall project and legacy".
