Summary: | 碩士 === 國立台北護理學院 === 中西醫結合護理研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of multimedia -based education in traditional Chinese medicine with western nursing for diabetes patients. A two-group experimental design was employed. The sampling of 60 DM patients in the study from Metabolism's clinic of one hospital in the south were randomized into two groups: an experimental group(n =30)and control group (n =30). The data was analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 for Windows.
The findings of this study were: after the interactive multimedia-based education for traditional Chinese medicine with western nursing (1)As to the disease knowledge, the experimental group obviously increased knowledge than to the control group(p<. 001). (2)As to the depression, the differences of change scores between two groups were not significant(p> . 05). (3). As to the sugar control, the differences of change scores between two groups were not significant(p> . 05).
(4). As to the self care, the differences of change scores between two groups were not significant (p> . 05).
The" the multimedia-based education in traditional Chinese medicine with western nursing" disc was effective to promote disease knowledge of diabetes patients and the patients had highly sati sfied.The result of study could attend to the clinical reference guided as popularizing diabetes traditional Chinese and western nursing instruction. Propose future researchers to continue directing against the diabetes patients of different hospitals to explore its range of application and effect under the result of this study.
