Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 環境工程與科學系 === 94 === In this study, atmospheric particulates were collected in the ambient air of six sampling sites (NPUST, Wandan, Linluo, Pingdung city, Chungcheng Rd., and Chungcheng overpass Kaohsiung) by using a MOUDI sampler from December 2004 to August 2005 in Kao-Ping Area. Using IC (Dionex-120) and ICP-OES to analyzed the characteristics of water-soluble ionic species and metals of particulate matters from the sampling sites. The results showed that the concentrations of atmospheric particulate in six sampling sites were 66.77 ± 13.37, 87.41 ± 13.41, 88.61 ± 20.10, 127.00 ± 34.05, 156.36 ± 60.49 and 158.14 ± 76.27 g/m3, respectively for (NPUST, Wandan, Linluo, Pingdung city, Chungcheng Rd., and Chungcheng overpass Kaohsiung). It mainly come from fine particulates (about 68.0~75.3%). The size distribution collected from different type of traffic intersections presents bimode size distribution. The major peaks for site A and B were in the coarse(3.2~5.6m) particle size ranges, and the site for C, D, E and F were in the fine (0.32~0.56 m) particle size ranges. The secondary aerosol of water-soluble ions was the major species. It manily distributed in fine particles and the percentage in fine particles were 42.1, 40.8, 40.8, 33.0, 37.5 and 39.6%, respectively for (NPUST, Wandan, Linluo, Pingdung city, Chungcheng Rd., and Chungcheng overpass Kaohsiung. The result of Enrichment Factor Analysis showed that Cl- and Mg2+ were mainly the from sea salt spray source, SO42-, Ca2+ and K+ were not associated with sea salt spray source, it might be from the crust element, the dust of the soil and the combustion of agriculture waste. In the analysis of metals, Ca, Na, Fe, K, Al, Mg, and Zn were the major species in the sampling sites. Ca, Fe, Al, and Mg were distributed in coarse particle and mainly from the crust element and the dust; Na and K were distributed in coarse particle and, mainly from sea salt spray; Zn and Pb were distributed in fine particle. The result of Principal Components Analysis (PCA) indicated that the dust, road dust, and the burning of agriculture waste were predominant at Site A. The sea salt spray, burning of agriculture waste, dust, and industry emission were predominant at Site B and C. The site D and E were mainly from dust, industry emission, burning or combustion of wood and oils, traffic pollution and sea salt spray. The site F were predominant in sea salt spray, human activity, traffic pollution, and crust element.
