Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 音樂學系碩士班 === 94 === The purpose of this study was to describe the process, effect, and teacher’s reflection of four concert patterns: performance lab recital, theme concert, festival concert, and lecture concert designed by the researcher, in order to seek professional growth through reflection and develop teaching skills.
This study is an action research. The collected data included teacher’s journals, opinions of the participant, video discs, exercises, and students’ works. The findings after analyzed data were listed as follows:
1. The process included preparing and concert. The preparing processes included composition choosing and practicing, program bill editing, equipment preparing, concert location decorating, communicating, and problem solving. The processes of concert included explaining, performing, additional activity, and opinion offering.
2. The effect of concerts attained teacher’s designed concept. Teaching strategies of course planning, contents, and learning motive through analyzed merits and defect were obtained.
3. Teacher’s future anticipation for the concert will be:(1)to establish a step by step teaching plan for guiding students to participate in music performance through leisure and pleasure;(2)to systematically apply related music material to concert performances; (3)to involve living atmosphere into music performance.
The conclusions were the following:
1. The processes of concert were joint efforts from the teacher, parents, and students.
2. Small and informal concert patterns were fine performance teaching strategies.
3. The future anticipated concert for the teacher shall be one executed in a planned, systematic and life-oriented manner.
