Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 94 === This study would take “the version of Personal Safety Board” in Taiwan Women Webs’ Forum” as the research sphere in terms of cyberpower. The purpose is to explore how this version of discussion was constructed in women webs and approach how females use cyberpower to empower themselves. The study would use qualitative research of participant-observation and indepth interview to engage the research. The author found as to the aspect of agenda-setting in those versions could be mainly classified into four categories, such as “search for supportive channels”,“comment on topicalities”,“express personal experiences” and “publicize relevant activities”. In Regard to the strategies and results of empowerment, female’s cyberpower could be presented both by personal and community levels. In personal level of fulfilling cyberpower, women could use the strategies of avatar and exchange to gain the empowered results of “voice vote”,“consciousness raising” and “behavior autonomy”. In community level of fulfilling cyberpower, women could establish common regulation by way of interactive processes between virtual community members. Female web users could build up sisterhood each other through exchanging and sharing personal experiences, but they could not orchestrate their consensus into practical power of mobilization.
