Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 94 === The main purpose of this research is on how to teach collage through picture books and understanding how children and teachers use collage in creative painting. The subjects are twenty-five preschool children in Kaohsiung. This research adopts the action research method. The data including the collage teachings and discussing, observing and taping of children’s activities; as well as taking notes and children’s work. The results as followed: Through appreciating picture books, it can increase children’s imagination and drawing abilities.The concept of collage can be established, and the style of the picture books can expand the kids’ creative work. The impacts of children from the collage teaching are: They can understand the difference between collage and tear-pasting, their concept of picture has been improved, and the children can use many different kinds of media to furtilize the collage works. The creative process of children has changed, their drawing and language ability has improved, and they have improved the skill of using scissors. Researcher has made self examination through this action research. And then conclude the action by providing advice for the teachers who try to work on collage teaching.
