Focus on how did they survive from patriarchy society and seek success for their careers, moreover, gained the glory in their life time. Semi-structured interview let partners not only exchange their minds, thoughts but also restructure their life experiences. The author invited female principals whose age around 45-55 years old, as a principal for 5-15 years, married and have children, and who live in south of Taiwan to be her partners. The conclusions below were analyzed from interview data and discussed from professor and the author. 1. Attitudes of female principals when facing gender differences- aggressive, gentle and powerful energy. They always be carefree no matter they have encountered the trouble or something to grow up, laughs or tears. They will use their unique and talent perfectly. Seeking the light from the dark place, changing the glimmer to the flambeau and then lighten their entire life. 2. Wavering between the traditional and the modern gender ideology Female principals always change their characters and combine their role with schools and families. They try to fix the traditional gender prejudices and dull images by using modern gender concepts, and try to approach modern from tradition. 3. Surmounting the myth of Mr. Principal and Mammy Principal Female principal was called Mr. Principal by local elders and they respected her as male principal, but female principal consider herself as a mother to lead the school. Between two of concepts, female principal has to break the dull images and find out different leadership. 4. The influence on family by female principals--- rebuilding family standards It is known that an outsider is hard to live within a family, but female principals overcame their embarrassing situation. The glory of principal was lightening not only their lives but also their families. 5. The alternative explanation of successes All of the partners said that to become principals were not their goal of life, they were so lucky to become principals.They can not be aware of their hard work and talent are the key of success, because of patriarchy internalization as their own value conception,and gender conciousness has been grown & gotten stronger. 6. Role overload and self displacement Female principal has to learn how to change their role as soon as possible because of she has multiple roles as principal, wife, mother and daughter in law everyday and she has to play these roles perfectly. In order to survive, female principal has ability of communication and relax. They already proved that the most beautiful woman is who work hardest. 7. Solitary and awareness at the leading position Every partner feels that instead of women, men who at the leading position have a lot of supporting systems. In this kind of situation, women need self-confidence and self-cured ability. 8. Gender mainstreaming style administration actions and knowledge establishment Female principals mix gender concepts and life. They always introspect what they thought and their attitudes and give up internalized gender differential concept , then lead their surroundings to do so.
