The data collection is through counseling and transcription of interviews. Maher’s discovery oriented approach is adapted to analyze the data. The analysis structure is in accordance with Miller & Crabtree’s Template Analysis Style. There are thirteen steps in this structure. A client’s nine times of counseling sessions, fifty-one emotion sections, are analyzed according to this structure. Followings are the findings of this study: First is the emotion content in the counseling process. The original emotion is presented chaotically and individually during the sessions. However, throughout the counseling progress, certain emotions appear more frequent and stronger than others. In this study, the most frequent emotions are sadness, anger and fear. In the chart of presenting emotions, it appears secondary emotion pattern. The integration of emotion pattern demonstrates the specific affective constellation of the client. Second is the developing process of individual affective constellation. In proportion to attributes of the affective constellations, they are classified into three groups which are primary emotion group, derivational emotion group, and metaemotion group. The affective constellations appear three different developing processes. One order is primary emotion group, derivational emotion group, and then metaemotion group. Other initiates from derivational emotion group, primary emotion group, and other derivational groups. The last comes first with a rough sketch of primary emotion group. After developing derivational emotion group, it goes back to integrate the primary emotion group. The primary emotions ensue becoming complete and confirmative. Third is the affective constellation in the counseling progress. This study divides the progresses in to the initial stage, the middle stage, the later stage, and the last stage. The initial stage is “sadness-fear- the derivational emotion-oblivion-remorse”. The middle stage is “sadness-fear- anger-the derivational emotion-dejection-remorse” and “anger (outward)-fear- iniquity-bemusement repression-anger (inward)-sadness-oblivion-distress-shame-sorriness”. The later stage is “anger-fear-the derivational emotion-tiredness distress-sorriness”. The last stage is”anger-sadness-sorriness”. Within the affective constellations, they are also divided into the primary emotion group, the derivational emotion group, and the metaemotion group.
