This study took the method of questionnaire survey and the investigative questionnaire of elementary school teachers as the tool to collect information and data. The qualified teachers conducting teaching in Kaohsiung municipal elementary schools would be regarded as the Population, and 410 teachers from 30 elementary schools as the subjects. There were totally 400 questionnaire collected, analyzed with SPSS package software. The statistical methods of frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t- test, one-way analysis of variance and two-way analysis of variance were used to analyze the data. Finally, according to the finding of this study, the conclusion and suggests were exposed as follows. I. Conclusions 1. The level of the cognition of the teachers was above the average, of which the cognition and concept on Bioethics were the best, but that on Bioethics Teaching Strategy should be built-up further. 2. The understanding on associated issues with Bioethics was above average, of which the dignity and ethnics of Life were the highest, but Animal Experiment & Ethic and studying Ethics both still needed efforts. 3. The teachers reckoned the present issues of Ethics suitable for elementary students were correspondent with the meaning of Life Education. 4. The teachers kept positive outlooks on Life Education, expecting more intact, suitable and promotional measures in order to actuate implementing Bioethics Education more easily. 5. The variable of different backgrounds of religion, services years, school scale, the refresher study on Bioethics associated courses, and the involved hours on participating Life Education Course in recently two years has positive effects on conception and cognition of Bioethics. 6. The variable of different backgrounds of religion, s school scale, the refresher study on Bioethics associated courses, and involved hours on participating Life Education Courses in recently two years has positive effects on their attitude to Bioethics. 7. The variable of different backgrounds of religion, s school scale, the refresher study on Bioethics associated courses, and involved hours on participating Life Education Courses in recently two years has positive effects on their demand of Bioethics Education. 8. The variable of different backgrounds of religion, s school scale, the refresher study on Bioethics associated courses, and involved hours on participating Life Education Courses in recently two years has positive effects on their requires to Bioethics Education. 9. Under reciprocal interaction of refresher study of Bioethics associated courses and Service years, the cognition on teaching strategy of Bioethics would be affected. 10. Under reciprocal interaction of involved hours on participating Life Education Courses in recently two years and Service years, the cognition on issue attitude, educational demand and teaching strategy would be affected. II. Suggestions 1. Suggestions for Administrative authorities, (1) Instruct and conduct refresher study, workshop and seminar about Life Education associated courses more. (2) Propagate and instruct extremely Life Education Global information Net in order to practice sharing function of Information Center strongly. (3) Require Teacher training institutes to design and propose General knowledge courses into their courses, and positively cultivate teachers of Life Education. (4)Understand the distribution of teaching resource of every school and offer assistance in educational resources to miner schools with the classes below 24. (5)Establish educational resource center of Bioethics and offer complete teaching resource and consulting service. 2. Suggestions for schools (1) Disseminate and implement Life Education positively and continuously. (2) Scatter and combine parents’ Education with Life Education. (3) Execute study activities associated with Bioethics and encourage teachers to create teaching materials of Bioethics. 3. Suggestion for teachers (1) Take advantage of every kind of teaching methods and promote teaching effect of students. (2) Take part in any study activities associated with Bioethics and keep on studying.
