The results can be used as reference for vocational high schools and high school teachers in order to develop, design or revise the curricula in the future. The structure of this research was established by researching related academic papers, and by questionnaire survey, we collected the suggestion about new curricula by teachers of design groups in vocational high schools. The samples of the questionaire survey were the teachers of design groups, data collection was processed from the returned questionnaires .With 177 valid samples. Several statistical methods were used in data analyzing such as percentage, frequency distribution, means, standard deviation, t- test, one way ANOVA,Scheffé method, etc. At the same time, the suggestion by teachers were also summarized and categorized. The following summaries were based on the results of questionnaire survey and an in-depth analysis: 1. There were significant differences toward the new curricula in year 2006 in terms of respondents’ ages, education backgrounds, department of teaching, courses of teaching, involvement of school advocacy of new curricula, involvement of governmental advocacy of new curricula, involvement of new curricula planning at school level, school position, school affiliation, and school geographical location. 2. Most teachers of design group take an optimistical attitude toward new curricula . 3.The professional characters and development of evevy department should be considered in new curricula, so it is unsuitable to integrat the eight departments into a group. 4. Students’ further academic access are still emphasized more than getting into the world of work in the new curricula. 5. The need of new curricula in professional classroom and equipment must increase the financial crisis in vocational school. 6. A serirs of advanced training or study on new curricula for vacational teachers should be provided by administration of education.
