samples, to discuss the relationship between job characteristics and job
satisfaction. The major purpose of this research have three points:
(1) Whether personal attributes will influence job satisfaction.
(2) To find out the relationship of between job characteristics and job
satisfaction.
(3) According to the analysis results, this study will provide available
suggestions for A company.
This research used questionnaires, and then 258 questionnaires were
distributed, 87 staffs returned the questionnaire and the overall return rate was
33%. The data collected were analyzed with reliability analysis, descriptive
statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, multi-regression analysis, and the
results were used to test the research hypotheses. Finally, there are two major
finding in the research as follows:
(1) Personal attributes-age, years of employment, level of education, have
significant differentiation on job satisfaction.
(2) The “skill variety” and “time pressure” of job characteristics have
significantly negative influence on job satisfaction, but “feedback” has
significantly positive influence on job satisfaction. And “time pressure” has the
most significant influence on job satisfaction.
