Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理所 === 94 === This study examines current situation of demand and supply in the logistics service market. It focuses on shippers of traditional industry and Hi-Tech industry how they choose the logistics service providers (LSPs), capability situation of logistics service providers and difficulty of each logistics service item. Results indicate traditional industry shippers emphasize, by order of importance, on-time delivery, followed by accurate order processing, handling problems, prompt response to shipper’s complaints, and low damage. Hi-Tech industry shippers emphasize on-time delivery, accurate order processing, handling problems, low damage, and prompt response to claim respectively. The shippers emphasize and satisfy accurate order processing, delivery on-time, high frequency of delivery, low damage, and knowledge ability of sales personnel. It is appropriate to use three categories and relative information technology items for appropriate LSP capability measurement. Those are information systems management, receiving/sending shipment notices, tracking and tracing shipment information, electronic transactions, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), web-based linkages, and simulating inventory.
