Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程所 === 94 === The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect the ability of
hazard recognition for construction worker. Digital video programs were used in this
study. The contents of the programs consist of the various hazardous conditions
according to different types of the tasks. After seeing the programs, the subjects
wrote the questionary according to the contents of the programs.
There are three items for the ability of hazard recognition including rist
cognition score, rist sensibility score, behavioral preparation scor. After seeing the
films the subjects wrote the questionary to assess and quantify the ability of hazard
recognition. The items of questionary include reasons for occurrence (person, place,
and device), description of hazard, probable consequences, hazard degree and
method of accident prevention to reflect the ability of hazard recognition. eventually,
the computer software of SPSS was used to analyze the results of the questionarys
collected from the subjects. T-test and one-way ANOVA was adopted to measure the
results in order to clarify the relationship between the effect factors and the ability of
hazard recognition.
The findings of the study were the factors to affect the hazard recognition
including gender, age, education, job feature, work experience, training for safety
and health. Otherwise, the accident occurred did not affect the hazard recognition.
According to the result of the study, we made the following recommendation:
the hazard identification and the safety and health training of the employees with
work experience less than three year should be improved, so the safety recognition
would be risen.
