碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 94 === ABSTRACT Since several centuries ago, there has been the phenomenon-cluster. Our ancestors chase with water and grass and hunting. There are the same situations with industries. Few years ago, Taiwan created “Taiwan Miracle” by industry cluster. Porter(1990) focuses on industry cluster and indicates that the Competitive Advantage of a country is usually shown by a special industry with industry cluster to increase the industry and economic growing. The ingredients to country economic are different industries whose conditions and environments are also diverse. However, the condition or environment in one country does not fit all industries. On the other hand, researchers had different opinions to the causes of making industry cluster. We consider that if technology spillover is the main factor to the situation. Nevertheless, there are a few related literatures. Consequently, we treat the relationship between technology spillover and industry cluster. We discuss the factors, methods and the perfect mechanism which is developed by fastener industries, supporting industries and suppliers of technology spillover to establish industry cluster. Otherwise, we also discuss the aspects of “trust” and “relationship” base on The Resource Dependence Theory and Network Theory. The methodology of this study is multiple-case designs where must follow a replication than sampling logic. We interview mid-managers in 6 similar corporations and evidence the results from their opinions and experiences. We find that: (1) Reasons for technology spillover: technological human resource, foreigners directly investment, technological gap, and ability of learning. (2) Methods for technology spillover: spread of technological human resource and forming technological community. (3) Technology spillover including: spread of technological human resource and forming technological community, the two ways make the corporations dependent and combine the complementary industries in deep to attract more industries to make the industry cluster stronger. (4) Relationship and trust have positive effects to technology spillover to industrial cluster.
