Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 應用日語所 === 94 === Abstract This study investigates the two adversative conjunctive particles “noni” and “kuseni” that express the feelings of criticism, and examine the acknowledgement of the use of these two particles. In order to clarify how the feelings of criticism develop, “noni” and ”kuseni,” are compared with another two adversative conjunctive particles, “kedo” and “temo,” that shows no elements of criticism. Upon the investigation and analysis, first, the results of the study of the previous adversative conjunctive particles are collected and summarized. Therefore, the function of the adversative conjunctive particles that expresses the feelings of the criticism is clearly defined. Second, on the basis of cognition generative concept of metaphor and metonymy, the study uses the billiard ball model, a theory of the interlocking action between things, to explain the relation between the cognition of language and experience, further, to define the theory for the study upon the investigation. Then, the study uses the theory of the billiard ball model to analyze “noni” and “kuseni,” expressing the feelings of criticism, and “kedo” and “temo”, expressing no feelings of criticism, and to further clearly define the element that induces the feelings of criticism. In addition, the study takes the literature in AOZORA BUNKO as an example for analysis. As a result, this study clarifies the process of cognition psychology that induces the feelings of criticism when we use “noni” and “kuseni”. Besides, many scholars have pointed out that the subject would be confined when a sentence includes “kuseni”. In addition, the analysis of the study relates the generation of this limitation with the original meaning of the word, “kuse.”
