No matter in respect of government policy or cultural adoption in civilian society, they have been unequally treated for long times. Even in some occasions or situations, they suffer discrimination and are deemed as "inferior civilians." However, under the trend of continued population growth, one thing need to be emphasized is that the population of foreign brides has become a "new foreign ethnic group." The problems they created are worth to pay attention in Taiwan society; even their next generation will also be much more close to Taiwan society, and thus become an important "hybrid power." Therefore, this paper discusses the current relationship and possible development of Non-Governmental Organizations in the future, and the cultural adaptation of foreign brides in terms of function and role. First of all, this paper uses methods of literature review and interview to find out the problems of foreign brides living in Taiwan as a starting point. And further, several cases about related NGO’s caring for foreign brides are discussed to explore the role and function of current NGO in terms of the life adaptation of foreign brides. Finally, based on integrated perspective, this paper reviews several focal points that NGO lacks in doing their works, and future orientations for future improvements.
