| Summary: | 碩士 === 南華大學 === 生死學研究所 === 94 === This study aimed at exploring the undergraduates’ ethical attitude towards the controversies in cloning technology, by means of empirical method to compare the views of scholars and specialists in literature with the results of questionnaire survey and make further discussion. The purpose was to find out the undergraduates’ information sources of cloning technology, their cognition on its technical side, and their ethical opinion on human cloning and the use of stem cells, etc.; then draw conclusions and suggestions from statistical results as reference for related studies.
The research conducted a questionnaire survey among 974 students from four universities in Kao-Shung City, we obtained an effective sample size of 823; the effective response rate is 84.49%.The returned surveys were statistically complied and analyzed by T-Test, χ2-Test, One-Way ANOVA and One-Way MANOVA analysis.
