The purpose of the study was to investigate the status of Arts-teacher preparation programs, as their student utilized computer Multi-Media in Elementary school. This study examined weather Arts-teacher preparation programs were producing teachers with appropriate computer Multi-Media competencies to utilize computer Multi-Media in Elementary school as well as in classroom. The focus was on the comparison of their computer Multi-Media program with Multi-Media competencies in Arts-teacher preparation programs.
A questionnaire was developed by the researcher to collect the data for this study. The purpose of the questionnaire was to investigated the computer Multi-Media program in National Hui-Lien Teachers' College Arts Education Department. The questionnaire also investigated the computer Multi-Media competencies, as well as these competencies can be utilized computer Multi-Media in Elementary school.
The Data obtained from this questionnaire survey were analyzed using a SPSS computer program. The responses were organized, analyzed and descriptive approach by mean, standard deviation and Pearson's product-moment correlation. Thirteen conclusions were made based upon review of the literrature and the interpretation of the data of the study. The researcher made recommendationa for further research, and for Arts-teacher preparation programs, and for elementary arts teacher.
