| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立花蓮教育大學 === 諮商與輔導研究所 === 94 === Male gender consciousness is playing an important role in the marital relationship with gender equity.The purpose of this research lies in understanding the married man with equal consciousness of the gender, the course that its gender consciousness forms and influence on marital relationship. This data were collected by semi-structure in-depth interviews with five married man with equal consciousness of the gender. And probe into the experience that married man interact with equal consciousness of the gender by narrative inquiry.
The result of study showed that the forming of the equal consciousness of the male gender is a change process of circulation, and the course formed relates to the fact that training and education in growing up experience, see unequally , observe learning , recognize women's ability . The forming process of the equal consciousness of the gender that may appear internal and external pressure , relation conflict , conflict of masculine deconstruction .The positive coping strategies that may leap the conflict,gender equity depend on the faith and the lasting action of equal.In addition, this research found that the equal consciousness of the gender has positive influence on the marital relationship. The man who hold with equal gender may demonstrate respect women's need ,develop independently and behavior positive participation of house work.Furthermore, the deconstruction of traditional masculine and male awakening , for promoting marriage relation and benefit to physical and mental health for man.
According to the finding , suggestions for practice of counseling and future studies were provide at the end .
