According to the research objectives, the professional development of the participated teachers as well as the performance of the students was thoroughly documented during the implementing process. This study was based on the feedback mechanism of cooperative action research. Through constant dialog, criticism, suggestion and concern, the researcher and the cooperative researcher/teacher intended to discover a more effective method in teaching. Furthermore, the data collection process of this research was based upon data triangulation mechanism. The reliability of this research is enhanced by adopting multiple research instruments. The research indicated that the cooperative action research had a positive effect on the teaching and research process. In addition to elaborating the research, this research not only enriched the process but also promoted the professional development of the participated teacher and the researcher on environmental education as well as teaching profession. And the effective learning of students on their environmental knowledge, awareness, skills and the participation was the thorough reflection on the effect of this cooperative action research. It is through this mechanism that provides the preciseness and the effectiveness of this research. With the research, the researcher and the teacher experienced the passion and positive attitudes on teaching once more. By careful and detailed planning and implementing, students were able to access the land they were living upon; to ponder the relation and interaction between human beings and the environment. Through knowing, understanding, cherishing and protecting it, students learnt how to construct the ability and thinking on how to coexist with the environment. Apart from pleasure, with the integrating environmental education into outdoor learning, the effective learning had become an important element in the teaching process.
