Summary: | 碩士 === 國立花蓮師範學院 === 學校行政碩士班 === 94 === The purpose of this research is to explore the motive and the work satisfaction of volunteer parents, as well as their will for the continuous involvement. The research is based on questionnaire method, randomly taking the volunteer parents of primary schools in Taipei City as the objects of study. 693 out of 920 questionnaires were completed and returned. The returning rate is75.3 %.
All returned questionnaires were statistically analyzed with ANOVA, T-test, Chisquare test, Pearson product-moment correlation, and Logistic Regression Analysis method.
The findings are as follows:
1.Volunteer parents share a similarity on the variables of backgrounds.
2.Differences in sex, age, marital status, education levels, vocations, participation hours, religious belief, years of working, volunteering history, and the thoughts of leaving have a discernible influence on volunteer parents’ motive of participation.
3.Differences in sex, age, marital status, education levels, vocations, participation hours, religious belief, years of working, volunteering history, and the thoughts of leaving have a discernible influence on volunteer parents’ work satisfaction.
4.Volunteer parents show a high inclination to serve continually.
5. Volunteer Parents’ motive for participation is highly correlated to work satisfaction.
6.The significant factors which result in volunteer parents’ continuous involvement are interpersonal relationship satisfaction, motive of expressing their responsibility for the society, as well as motive to meet others’ expectations
