The personal and value-fit are analyzed to the relationships between personal organizational commitment and burnout. The instrument “The questionnaire on School Culture Values and Perception of the Work” is used in this study. It was given to the Director of Student Affairs (DSA)and SCPE in each of the 233 public primary schools in the region of Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miao Li. The data is analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and block regression analysis. The findings of this study are as follows: 1.The status quo is that all DSA and SCPE give weight to school culture values. Both the organizational commitment and the emotional exhaustion under the category of burnout for the SCPE are of the medium level. The depersonalization level is low whereas the personal accomplishment level is upper-middle. 2.For the demographic variables concerning the school culture values upheld by the SCPE, significant differences only exist in the age. There are significant differences in the age and the seniority if we look at the organizational commitment. For the burnout, there are significant differences in the age, seniority, educational level and seniority in service. 3.The school culture values upheld by the SCPE are of positive relationship with the affective commitment and negative with the continuance commitment. They are of positive relationship with the personal accomplishment and negative with the emotional exhaustion and the depersonalization. The achievement orientation and affective commitment are of positive relationship. Teaching concern fit, achievement orientation fit are of positive relationship with personal accomplishment. 4.The school culture values upheld by SCPE can predict the organizational commitment and burnout. The School culture values fit can’t predict significantly the organizational commitment, but it can partially predict the burnout.
