The study was applied to Hsinchu area high school (Hshin chu commercial vocational high school and Hukou high school) archery teams with a total of 41 participating athletes (22 male and 19 female). To qualify each participant was first required to pass two 70 meter qualification test. To pass, each arrow must successfully average 7 points or above. After qualification, each participant continued on to an 18 event athletic ability test. Data will be available to support the compiled statistics that establish each conclusion. The Wherry-Dolittle method was used to evaluate the results using a parameter value of α =.05. Data was analyzed as follows: A. The Wherry-Dolittle method measure was associated with four factors: bow draw time, hand eye coordination, 50 meter sprint, left hand gripping ability. B. Prediction of archery performance using the standard technique of multivariate regression equation was as follows: a. standard diverse progressive regression equation: archery performance=0.564 (bow draw time)+0.258 (hand eye coordination)+0.486 (50 meter sprint)+0.430 (left hand gripping ability) b. raw unit diverse progressive regression equation: archery performance=0.594 (bow draw time)+1.307 (hand eye coordination)+10.104 (50 meter sprint)+1.171 (left hand gripping ability)+214.63 54% accuracy with a standard deviation of 14.7.
