Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 教育研究所 === 94 === The main purpose of this research is to understand the current situation of Junior High School Principal’s Instructional Leadership and Teachers’ Knowledge Management in Tao-yuan County, Hsin-chu County, Hsin-chu City and Miao-Li County, and investigate the relationship between Principal’s Instructional Leadership and Teachers’ Knowledge Management.
The analyzed data was collect through questionnaire survey. The questionnaire: “The Investigating Research of Junior High School Principal’s Instructional Leadership and Teachers’ Knowledge Management in Tao-yuan County, Hsin-chu County, Hsin-chu City and Miao-Li County” was designed by the researcher based on literature review and validated by professionals. The sample population includes 56 principals, 262 teachers serve administrators, 262 home-room teachers and 262 non-home-room teachers from 56 public junior high school in Tao-yuan County, Hsin-chu County, Hsin-chu City and Miao-Li County. The collected data was analyzed through mean, stander deviation, T-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlations and multiple stepwise regression analysis.
The main results were summarized as follows:
1.Junior high school principals’ instructional leadership behavior and teachers’ knowledge management behavior situation were well.
2.Significant differences of the perception of principals’ instructional leadership behavior exist in the teachers serve administrators with the different sex, different school magnitude; significant differences of the perception of principals’ instructional leadership behavior exist in the home-room teachers with the different age, different school magnitude, different school location; significant differences of the perception of principals’ instructional leadership behavior exist in the non-home-room teachers with the different sex, different age.
3.Significant differences of the perception of teachers’ knowledge management behavior exist in the non-home-room teachers with the different sex.
4.Significant canonical correlation was found between principals’ instructional leadership behavior and teachers’ knowledge management behavior(.480).
5.“Increasing students’ learning atmosphere” was the most positive predictor of principals’ instructional leadership behavior.
Based on the above results, this research finally propose suggestions to education authority, principals and teachers of junior high schools as well as further research.
