She's been gripped by the sense of guilt since her younger sister's death by suicide. While being enthusiastic in teaching and expecting kids to learn before it's too late, she pushed hard with anger sometimes. With persistent introspection, understanding and practice, she looks back to examine the tangled past of her family and her teaching, and finally works to get closer with herself, her family and her students, and most important of all, she gains the strength to keep going on the research.
