Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 94 === In recent years, image and video are widely used in many applications on the Internet. Because of the unreliable transmission channels and the malicious tampering, error concealment and tamper recovery algorithms have been proposed respectively, and the data embedding techniques are further adopted in the tamper recovery and recent error concealment methods. However, the main disadvantage of the data embedding is normally expected that more embedded information will result in more error concealment, tamper recovery and larger quality degradation simultaneously. In order to prevent the quality degradation, most of the error concealment and tamper recovery schemes embed the simplified or downsampled information to reduce the amount of embedded information. However, the simplified or downsampled information can not be applied to recovery the error parts and tampered area well enough in higher quality applications. In this thesis, we combine traditional error concealment with data embedding schemes to generalize an efficient utilization of the embedding spaces. We propose a rule that chooses the information worthy to hold and embed into the limited embedding spaces to enhance the utilization of the embedding spaces for embedding more accurate information and better quality recovery of the damaged image indirectly.
