Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 化學系 === 94 === 1,1'-dipicoly-3,3'methylenediimidazolium ditetrafluoroborate (1) reacts with silver(I) oxide in methanol at room temperature to give a dinuclear silver(I)-carbene complex(2). The complex was characterized spectrally. The structure of the complex was further confirmed by using single crystal X-ray analysis and showing that two N-heterocyclic carbene ligands coordinate to two silver atoms. The Ag-Ag distance of 3.3 Å indicting the existence of silver-silver interaction. On the other hand, reaction of the 1,1'-dipicoly-3,3'methylenediimidazolium dihexafluorophosphate with nickel(II) acetate in acetonitrile yields yellowish green nickel complex(3). The structure of the novel diamagnetic mononuclear Ni(II) complex, as determined by a single crystal X-ray analysis, reveals a distorted square-planar geometry at the nickel center, which is bonded with two pyridyl nitrogens and two heterocyclic carbene moieties. This complex has been tested and proved to be effective to catalyze the Heck reaction.
