Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 休閒事業管理研究所 === 94 === This study presents the establishment of an indicator system for the management of Taiwan’s national parks and the evaluation of the performance of management in Taiwan’s national parks. The national parks are established indicator system according to three main management purposes and national park management issues. The indicator system is composed by three Hierarchy. The first Hierarchical has two main purposes Protection Research and Recreation. The second Hierarchical has composed by nine management strategies. The third Hierarchical has composed by thirty-two indicators.
There are used professionals to evaluation the indicators weight and applied AHP methods to evaluation of the performance of management in Taiwan’s national parks. The first Hierarchical result to the Protection Research is important than Recreation. In Protection Research section the management strategies to evaluation the result in order is “the execution of ecology care”, “environment resource management”, “research developments and plans”, “interpretation of ecology and education”. In Protection Research section the indicators to evaluation there are more important indicators are “the ecology diversity”, “the care plan integrity”, “the care area control”. In Recreation section the management strategies to evaluation the result in order is “Environment Management”, “Recreation management”, “Safety Management”, “Traffic Management”, “Business Management”. In Recreation section the indicators to evaluation there more important indicators are “Facilities of Safety Management”, “Traffic Convenient”, “Tourism management”.
The evaluation of the performance of management in Taiwan’s national parks, the Yushan National Park is better to other national parks. In Protection Research management the Sheipa National Park is better to other national parks. In Recreation management the Yangmingshan National Park is better to other national parks. In the case of Yushan National Park, after studying all of the previous year’s management trend analysis, the Yushan National Park management improved in performance compared to last year.
