Methodologically, semi-structured interviews were conducted by collecting ten copies of text data from five couples of teachers who are simultaneously parents of elementary school students. Through the thematic analysis, four qualities were induced as follows. First, teacher couples’ beliefs of parenting come from their original family. They copy the parenting style from their own parents of the growing background in their childhood. Second, parenting is like an art or a kind of knowledge. Each parent has different perception and attitude toward parenting. Their parenting styles depend on their own belief. And next, parents cooperate in complementary roles. There are differences between fathers and mothers. However, the cooperation of their parenting work develops through the process of negotiating and communicating to each other. At last, children should have chances to make their choices. Parents devote themselves to bring their children up. Still, children have their own ideas individually to find their way out. Accordingly, teacher parents all have the hope to provide an environment that makes their children feel free to learn, thus there will be filled with joy in their childhood. Finally, based on the result of this research, advices concerning teachers who are parents, family education, and the research direction in the future were proposed in this study.
