This study’s method was questionnaire survey research, the sample was selected from kindergartens and day care centers in Chiayi City and Chiayi County by stratified random sampling, and the number of effective questionnaires was 228. The main conclusions of research were as follows: 1.The current situation of preschool caregivers’ professional competencies: a.The overall performance on “knowledge” of managing children disease and injury was poor. The most lacking is the knowledge of “the cause and type of injury in children” and “the common diseases and symptoms in children”. b.The overall performance on the “skill” of managing children disease and injury was fair. The most lacking is the skill of “the way and procedures to manage children disease” and “the cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)”. c. The attitude of the preschool caregivers to the management of the children disease and injury was positive and enthusiastic. 2.Preschool caregivers’ “personal background variable” and their current professional competencies of children disease and injury: a.No significant differences in preschool caregivers’ professional competencies of children disease and injury were found with age difference, teaching year and organization. b.There were significant differences in preschool caregivers’ professional competencies of children disease and injury with different graduation major, first-aid qualification and attendance of children disease and injury course trainings. c.There were significant differences in preschool caregivers’ “attitude” of children disease and injury with different management experience about children disease and injury. 謝美慧 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
