Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 休閒產業經營學系碩士班 === 94 === Because of the highly of political, economy, culture, and other dimensions, Taipei City becomes the most urbanized area in Taiwan. However, with the increasing of the leisure demands of the Taipei citizens, the sport facilities are insufficient here today. Therefore, to set up more recreational sport facilities to meet the citizens’ demands becomes an important policy for Taipei city government. Zhong Shan Sports Center was established and out contracted by China Youth Corps to provide participative sport opportunity to the Taipei City residents. Right now, the averagely number of participants are over 2,000 of this Center, it indicated that the usage rate of this Center is quite ideally, however, the strategies of improving the service quality and increasing the customers’ satisfaction as well as royalty in the future becomes a challenge for the organizer.
The concept of fit often was found in related research of industry’s strategies, but it doesn’t have the related study with the operation of sports center, so the purpose of this research was to study the relation between the external/internal fit and the organization’s performance. The researcher of this study adopted questionnaire as well as qualitative research, analyzing external/internal fit, and their relation with performance.
The findings indicated that the external fit in three dimension and with performance were well effect. It showed that the organizers of Zhong Shan Sports Center should think about itself, its environment and the goals of the organization in choosing the strategies. In internal fit in two dimensions and with performance were well effect. It indicated that the organization in whole environment, the better the staff’s management skill, and the higher of the staff’s coordinating can promote the performance of a company.
According to the study and the above conclusions, two major suggestions were recommended:
1. For the Taipei Zhong Shan Sports Center:
(1)Enforcing off-peak hours marketing strategy.
(2)Building the channel of promotion and evaluation system.
(3)Setting the strategy via competitive opponent in future.
2. For the further studies:
(1)Many comparison with the other sports centers.
(2)Discussion of fit dimensions which were not analyzed in this study the others.
(3)Quantified the performance indeies.
