However, some studies have indicated that family functions might serve as the moderator between peer drug use and adolescent drug use. As to the results of the relationships among peer drug use, family functions and drug reuse were inconsistent. Thus, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of peer drug use and family functions on the drug reuse, and whether family conflict serves as a moderator between peer drug use to drug reuse. A total of 186 participants were administered with questionnaires in regards to demographic characteristics, family function scale, and peer drug use scale. It was indicated that a younger age of drug initiation was associated a younger age of habitual drug use, less family responsibility, more family conflict, and more peer drug use. Moreover, drug reuse was associated an increased number of receiving probational rehabilitation treatments, a higher frequency of receiving forced rehabilitation treatments and more emotional involvement. Logistic regressions were used in the analysis. It was found that emotional involvement predicted drug reuse. However, peer drug use was not a predictor, and family conflict was not a moderator between peer drug use to drug reuse. Huei-Chen Ko 柯慧貞 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 74 zh-TW
