However, current hybrid systems defined in the IBOC FM DAB specification request to transmit the digital signals and the analog signals on nonoverlapped spectrum to avoid self-in-band interference. It is certain that if both signals can be transmitted on the same FM band, it can provide more transmission capacity for digital signals and can improve the spectrum efficiency. In this thesis, we propose a scheme that can transmit digital data and analog FM signals simultaneously in the same band without interfering with each other.
