Since 2002, Taiwan education department puts forward a plan of sustainable school and carry out relative measurements by now. The study discusses the effect of the plan, reconsiders the topic and effect under the present policy, analysis’s the situation regional rebuilt applied by interview and questionnaires, expect the example which matured enough to carry out the sustainable school rebuilt. The study takes 13 elementary schools in Tainan city who applied for the sustainable school rebuilt during 2002-2005 as example, has an interview and questionnaires on the spot. The important result of the study lies in the policy, the execution staffs in school have got the concept of environment rebuilt, rate of resource sharing between schools are high. There are still some problems that the cooperation between time and measurement need to be improved, the cost should flexible, the content of plan lack relative supporting measurements, the standards of enrollment is different, and the level of environment planners should be improved. The executions have been grouped into teams and formed good interaction. By now, the sustainable school concept needs to be strengthened, xecuted and generated. Regarding the environment facility, the implement and teaching of resource recycling can be put into effect. Water Permeable pavement benefit can be strengthened to meet schools’ need, zoological pool can be the best place for students and teachers, leaves compost has got effect in solving rubbish and teaching, frowziness, glare, echo have been improved to satisfactory result in inside environment. Regeneration resource such as the maintaining of view lights, land lights have been the burden of school. The maintaining cost of saving energy is large enough; manmade we land water-purring disposing need to rely on professional techniques; crawl needs to be strengthened safeguard; the leaves compost facilities need to meet the zoology; the rubbish of kitchen need to consider the spoilage of old machine; the plant in school garden should strengthen compost.
