Wood framing has passed through a process of using in North American. The materials of stud、section of stud、sheathing、insulation and the way of joint and the construction method of wall are standardized. But the climate、the way of material made、Building Code and quality level are incongruous Although the construction methods are standardized and imported, it still can not fit for the needs of system of production and operation activities of construction industry. In respect of fire-resistant performance of compartment,life style of compatriots often change and replace the materials of joint. Besides, we lack of method and standard that estimate the impact of changing material and component to construction method. Finally people take a skeptical attitude to fire safety. In the same time, the fire-resistance performance of the wall can’t come up to standards because of regional climate and production environment. Therefore, Architecture and building research institute ministry of interior refers to standardization of construction method in developed countries while it is propelling the wood framing, then hypothesize influential factors. To test and verify the fire resistant performance of one set of wood framing by using north American’s and Taiwan’s materials. The present search uses the test object record to compare with the materials and interaction between the materials for fire-resistant performance of compartment of wood framing and compare with the different materials of fire-resistant performance of compartment. In the same time, utilizing different materials to estimate the improving rate of fire-resistance performance of compartment then infer interaction between materials by step. Moreover, to investigate the interaction between factors which influence the performance of wood framing compartment, and to compare it by quantify data.
