Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 水利及海洋工程學系碩博士班 === 94 === As everyone knows, we can’t live without water. In order to secure the quality of water, Taiwan Water Corporation has to evaluate the toxicity of raw water by monitoring local fishes which are raised in a glass tank. They lead the raw water into the glass tank and judge the safety of water by observing the fishes live or dead. However according to previous research, there are some refuge areas where the current velocity is very slow for the fishes in the glass tank. That will cause the wrong judgment for the observers.
The aim of this study was to produce a warning index based on the refugee schooling of zebra fish. We dripped down S.D.S or NaCl at the concentrations of 10000 ppm as the toxicant to pollute the inflow. By contrasting the normal situation, we could construct the warning index to reflect the toxic inflow confidently. The glass tank was infected when the warning index greater than 0.3. It can offer a more precise and quicker way to Taiwan Water Corporation to keep the water safe.
